This booklet is sure to be a useful math tool. Have each child make a flip booklet by stacking seven half sheets of different-colored construction paper between a folded sheet of construction paper and stapling the booklet across the top. After the student decorates the cover, instruct him to label the first booklet page "gallon." Then have him equally divide and label the sections of the next five pages, in order, to represent the following units: two half gallons, four quarts, eight pints, and 16 cups. Leave the back cover blank. Finally, direct him to carefully cut apart the strips on each page as shown.
