Programmed Play Dough Mats
Play dough takes a new twist with specially programmed play dough mats. Using permanent markers or paint pens, program a set of solid-colored vinyl placemats with letters, numbers, or shapes. Place the mats in a center along with a supply of play dough. A youngster rolls out a small amount of play dough, places the roll on a programmed mat, and then bends the roll to form the letter, number, or shape.
