This center combines geography and practice capitalizing proper nouns! see more Place a map, a spinner labeled with four familiar geography terms (see the illustration), blank paper, a ruler, crayons, and pencils at a center. A student divides a sheet of paper into four columns and writes at the top of each column a different term from the spinner. She spins the spinner and then uses the map to find an example of the term she spun. She writes it in the corresponding column of her paper and underlines each capital letter. Then she spins again.
